NA-50 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, 28 candidates participated under the NA-50 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Muhammad Ali Wazir, Syed Tariq Gillani, Mehmood Alam, Nasees Ullah Khan, Javid Iqbal, Ghalib Khan, Sana Ullah Khan, Muhammad Rehman, Muhammad Ayaz Khan, Abdul Rasheed, Aman Ullah, Abdullah, Zarwali Khan, Anwar Khan S/O Sado Khan, Noor Hassan, Muhammad Ilyas, Muhammad Asghar Khan, Muhammad Noor, Hafiz ul Ameen, Jumma Khan, Nek Muhammad S/O Adam Khan, Muhammad Gulab, Allah Dad Khan, Abdul Khaliq Khan, Ajab Gul, Naik Muhammad S/O Haji Sail Khan, Taj Muhammad and Anwar Khan S/O Umer Khan.
Muhammad Ali Wazir won the elections by receiving 23530 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Syed Tariq Gillani, received 8250 votes.
