NA-209 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 8 candidates who participated under NA-209 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Pir Syed Fazal Ali Shah Jillani, Peer Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi, Syed Ameer Umer Jeelani, Ismail Shah, Abdul Haq, Ghulam Ali, Ghulam Mustafa and Munawar Ali Wassan.
Pir Syed Fazal Ali Shah Jillani won the elections by receiving 95921 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Peer Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi was who received 76046 votes.
