NA-222 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 14 candidates who participated under NA-222 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Mahesh Kumar Melani, Arbab Zaka Ullah, Hemoon, Muhammad Moin, Muhammad Ramzan, Arbab Anwar Jabbar, Tulchi Bai, Abdul Ghani, Arbab Togachi Fawad Razzaq, Arbab Lutfullah, Giyan Chand, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Arbab Ameer Amanullah and Kanwar Kumar.
Mahesh Kumar Melani won the elections by receiving 106630 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Arbab Zaka Ullah was who received 87251 votes.
