NA-236 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 14 candidates who participated under NA-236 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Jam Abdul Karim Bijar, Masroor Ali, Qadir Bux, Afshan, Soomar, Muhammad Nadeem, Dewan Chand Chawala, Pir Jan Muhammad, Ashfaq Ahmad, Syed Saleem Shah, Khadim Hussain Shaikh, Muhammad Islam, Shahid Hussain and Mushtaq Ahmad Ishtiaq Dhool.
Jam Abdul Karim Bijar won the elections by receiving 66623 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Masroor Ali was who received 26456 votes.
