NA-244 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 21 candidates who participated under NA-244 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Miftah Ismail Ahmad, Muhammad Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, Zahid Saeed, Mian Waqar Akhtar Paganwala, Yasha Ullah Khan Afghan, Muhammad Saeed Shafiq, Tabish Hussain, Shaukat, Mudassir Iqbal, Nomi Bashir, Nasir Khan, Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah Bukhari, Amjad Ali Asif, Shazia Razzaq Khan, Muhammad Imran Kashif, Muhammad Tariq, Muhammad Zubair Khan, Saif Uddin, Sabir Hussain and Muhammad Ali Atara.
Syed Ali Haider Zaidi won the elections by receiving 69475 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Miftah Ismail Ahmad was who received 31247 votes.
