NA-256 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 16 candidates who participated under NA-256 Constituency of Balochistan Province. These candidates were Muhammad Najeeb Haroon, Aamir Wali uddin Chishti, Meraj ul Huda Siddiqui, Dost Muhammad Faizi, Muhammad Ali Qadri, Muhammad Adil Siddiqui, Syed Sajid Hassan, Shahid Hussain, Sofia Yaqoob, Zain Aqil, Muhammad Riaz Haidar, Ishtiaq Ahmad Shad, Rehman Mansoor, Muhammad Zaman Khan Lodhi, Muhammad Afsar Ali Khan and Muhammad Irshad Siddiqui.
Muhammad Najeeb Haroon won the elections by receiving 89850 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Aamir Wali uddin Chishti was who received 45575 votes.
