NA-261 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-261 Constituency of Balochistan Province. These candidates were Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali, Mir Changez Khan Jamali, Zahoor Hussain Khan Khosa, Rahat Jamali, Mir Hussain, Piyara Khan, Izhar Hussain, Gohar Ali, Sohrab Khan and Nazir Ahmad.
Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali won the elections by receiving 45222 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Mir Changez Khan Jamali was who received 27563 votes.
