The Election Commission has released the schedule of general elections 2024
Candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers from December 20 to 22 for the general elections.
The list of candidates will be released on December 23.
Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place from December 24 to December 30.
On January 3, 2024, appeals will be heard on approval and rejection of papers.
January 10, 2024 will be the last day for the decisions of the Appellate Authority on appeals.
The revised list of candidates will be released on 11 January 2024.
January 12, 2024 will be the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers.
Election symbols will be allotted to the candidates on 13 January 2024.
Polling for general elections will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
