NA-117 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 13 candidates who participated under NA-117 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Chaurdhary Muhammad Bajees Tahir, Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, Chaudhary Bilal Ahmad Virk, Muhammad Rizwan Wahga, Muhammad Waqas, Doctor Haroon Ishfaq Chaudhary, Ch. Shafqat Rasool Ghuman, Akram Hayat Cheema, Chaudhary Waqas Ahmad Virk, Naeem Iqbal and Muhammad Azam.
Chaurdhary Muhammad Bajees Tahir won the elections by receiving71891 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Tariq Mehmood Bajwa was who received 68995 votes.
