NA-129 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 11 candidates who participated under NA-129 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Abdul Aleem Khan, Muhammad Yousuf, Iftikhar Shahid, Farzana Butt, Ali Javed Dogar, Farooq Tahir Chishti, Kishwar Bano, Sohail Shaukat Butt, Humayun Akhtar Khan and Muhammad Tajammal Hussain.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq won the elections by receiving 103021 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Abdul Aleem Khan was who received 94879 votes.
