NA-131 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 16 candidates who participated under NA-131 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, Khawja Saad Rafique, Syed Murtaza Hassan, Asim Mehmood, Waqar Nadeem Waraich, Faheem Ahmad Khan Lodhi, Jawad Ahmad, Tahir Aslam, Nadeem Ahmad, Muhammad Mudassar, Shoaib Ullah Cheema, Mian Zahid Islam Anjum, Muzaffar Ali, Humayun Akhtar Khan and Muhammad Jahangir Dogar.

Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi won the elections by receiving 84313 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Khawja Saad Rafique was who received 83633 votes.
