NA-136 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-136 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, Malik Asad Ali, Muhammad Ahmad Majeed, Jamil Ahmed, Zubair Ahmad, Nizam Din, Chaudhary Ahmad Hussain, Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Muhammad Younis, Muneer Ahmad, Khalid Mahmood, Shabbir Ahmad, Sardar Adil Umer, Sardar Kamil Umar and Irfan Shafi Khokhar.
Muhammad Afzal Khokhar won the elections by receiving 88831 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Malik Asad Ali was who received 44669 votes.
