NA-137 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 18 candidates who participated under NA-137 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Saad Waseem, Sardar Asif Ali Daula, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmad, Nasira Meo, Muhammad Farooq ul Hassan, Zafar Jahhar Chishti, Masood Anwar, Shabbir Ahmad, Javed Mahmood, Chaudhary Muhammad Arif Sindhu, Muhammad Saleem Mehar, Amjad Ali, Muhammad Ilyas Khan, Ghulam Muhammad, Attique ur Rahman, Abdul Hanan Sabir, Amaar Waseem and Salman Haneef.
Saad Waseem won the elections by receiving 121207 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sardar Asif Ali Daula was who received 42930 votes.
