NA-142 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-142 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Ch. Riaz Ul Haq Jujj, Rao Hassan Sikandar, Shumaila Shaukat, Muhammad Tariq Khan, Mian Abdul Rasheed, Hafiz Muhammad Abid Attari, Fayyaz Zafar, Muhammad Akram, Sheraz Zafar, Muhammad Abid Ali Khan, Muhammad Arsalan and Muhammad Arshad Iqbal.
Ch. Riaz Ul Haq Jujj won the elections by receiving 140733 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Rao Hassan Sikandar was who received 76592 votes.
