NA-144 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 13 candidates who participated under NA-144 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Muhammad Moinn Wattoo, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Khan Wattoo, Muhammad Jamil Ashraf, Rubina Shaheen Wattoo, Mian Muhammad Fayyaz, Shahzad Zulfiqar Ali, Syed Muhammad Ali Gillani, Muhammad Hussain, Syed Raza Ali Gillani, Mian Khurrum Jehangir Wattoo, Sardar Ali Haider Khan, Noor ul Amin Wattoo and Chand Bibi.
Muhammad Moinn Wattoo won the elections by receiving 118670 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Mian Manzoor Ahmad Khan Wattoo was who received 105585 votes.
