NA-148 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-148 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Chaudary Muhammad Ashraf, Malik Muhammad Yaar Dhako, Mahar Ghulam Farid Kathia, Rai Munsaf Shabeer Ahmad, Muhammad Tanveer Choudhary, Sami Minhas, Umair Javed, Muhammad Amjad, Tariq Aziz and Malik Muhammad Ramzan.
Chaudary Muhammad Ashraf won the elections by receiving 128880 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Malik Muhammad Yaar Dhako was who received 87557 votes.
