NA-159 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 13 candidates who participated under NA-159 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Dewan Muhammad Zulqarnain Bokhari, Dewan Syed Muhammad Haider Ali Bukhari, Muhammad Abbas, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Shahzad Hussain, Naghma Mushtaq Lang, Mehdi Abbas Khan Langah, Rana Shahzeb Ahmad Noon, Muhammad Shehar Yar Noon, Muhammad Ashgar, Muhammad Akram and Siddique Ahmad.
Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon won the elections by receiving 102606 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Dewan Muhammad Zulqarnain Bokhari was who received 99374 votes.
