NA-167 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 14 candidates who participated under NA-167 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Alam Dad Lalaika, Mian Mumtaz Ahmad Matayana, Muhammad Azam, Shoukat Ali Lalaka, Syed Muzzammil Hussain Shah, Muhammad Shahzad, Syed Fazal Mehmood Shah, Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Akram Tahir, Arslan Khan Khakwani, Mian Mumtaz Ahmed, Muhammad Ijaz UI Haq, Muhammad Rauf and Ishrat Bagum.
Alam Dad Lalaika won the elections by receiving 91349 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Mian Mumtaz Ahmad Matayana was who received 70159 votes.
