NA-170 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-170 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Muhammad Farooq Azam Malik, Muhammad Baleegh Ur Rahman, Syed Waseem Akhtar, Mehmood Ul Hassan, Syed Irfan Ahmad Gardezi, Shahzia Noureen, Syed Zeeshan Akhtar, Muhammad Anwar, Muhammad Usman Farooq, Alamgir Mansha, Naheed Malik and Mian Shahid Iqbal.
Muhammad Farooq Azam Malik won the elections by receiving 84495 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Baleegh Ur Rahman was who received 74694 votes.
