NA-171 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 7 candidates who participated under NA-171 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Mian Riaz Hussain Peerzada, Chaudhary Naeem uddin Warraich, Chaudhary Tariq Bashir Cheema, Syed Salman Ahmad Gardezi, Khan Khuda Yar Khan, Hafiz Khair Muhammad and Aleam Ullah Warraich.
Mian Riaz Hussain Peerzada won the elections by receiving 99202 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Chaudhary Naeem uddin Warraich was who received 88297 votes.
