NA-175 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 9 candidates who participated under NA-175 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Syed Mobeen Ahmed, Khawaja Ghulam Rasool Kurija, Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Khawaja Muhammad Asghar Koreja, Muhammad Ilyas, Nazia Parveen, Ghulam Mustafa Sabar, Muhammad Zubair and Mian Faiz Ul Hassan.

Syed Mobeen Ahmed won the elections by receiving 96967 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Khawaja Ghulam Rasool Kurija was who received 89113 votes.
