NA-180 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-180 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Syed Murtaza Mahmood, Sardar Muhammad Arshad Khan Leghari, Sardar Rafiq Haidar Khan Laghari, Nadeem Abbas Cheema, Nazim Hussain Saeed, Tahir Ali, Sagheer Abbas, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Safdar Khan Leghari, Muhammad Arshad, Hafiz Asif Rasheed and Ch. Muhammad Shafique Anwar.
Syed Murtaza Mahmood won the elections by receiving 71988 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sardar Muhammad Arshad Khan Leghari was who received 54990 votes.
