NA-185 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 8 candidates who participated under NA-185 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Makhdom Zada Syed Basit Ahmad Sultan Bukhari, Muhammad Muazzam Ali Khan Jatoi, Jamshaid Ahmad Khan Dasti, Muhammad Masood Saeedi, Rao Atif Ali Khan, Sayeda Zahra Basit Bukhari, Azra Perveen and Muhammad Zafar Ullah Khan Leghari.
Makhdom Zada Syed Basit Ahmad Sultan Bukhari won the elections by receiving 94282 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Muazzam Ali Khan Jatoi was who received 72822 votes.
