NA-187 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-187 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were  Abdul Majeed Khan Niazi, Sardar Bahadur Ahmad Khan Sehar, Sahibzada Faiz ul Hassan, Chaudhary Altaf Hussain, Syed Zafar Hussain Gillani, Hassan Ameer, Abdur Rauf, Syed Zulqarnain Sabir, Mahboob ul Hassan and Qazi Shah Mardan Alvi.

 Abdul Majeed Khan Niazi won the elections by receiving 93903 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sardar Bahadur Ahmad Khan Sehar was who received 88225 votes.
