NA-188 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 11 candidates who participated under NA-188 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were  Malik Niaz Ahmad Jhakkar, Syed Muhammad Saqlain Shah Bukhari, Muhammad Ramzan, Ch. Ishfaq Ahmed, Atiq Ur Rehman Mirani, Sobia Ramzan, Muhammad Bilal, Sajjad Ahmad, Ghulam Abbas, Muhammad Farrukh Cheema and Kalsoom Khaliq.

 Malik Niaz Ahmad Jhakkar won the elections by receiving 109420 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Syed Muhammad Saqlain Shah Bukhari was who received 102943 votes.
