NA-188 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 16 candidates who participated under NA-188 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Khawja Sheraz Mehmood, Sardar Mir Badshah Khan Qaisrani, Khawja Mudassar Mehmood, Khawja Atta Ullah Khan, Jamshaid Ahmad Khan Dasti, Muhammad Iqbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Mundrani, Hafeez ur Rehman Baloch, Sardar Confcius.Imam Qaisrani, Rashida Naseem, Muhammad Arif Aslam, Shamoona Ambreen, Zafar Iqbal, Abdul Rauf, Sooba Khan and Ameer Muhammad Zulqernain.
Khawja Sheraz Mehmood won the elections by receiving 78596 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sardar Mir Badshah Khan Qaisrani was who received 39522 votes.
