NA-217 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 14 candidates who participated under NA-217 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Roshan Uddin Junejo, Mehar Ali urf Mahi Khan, Akbar Hussain Chughtai, Muhammad Shakeel, Zafar Ali, Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Mubeen, Paras Dero, Ghulam Mujtaba Soomro, Shakeel Ahmad alias Kareem Dad, Abdul Aziz Thaheem, Sala Uddin Junejo, Niaz Hussain and Ghayas Uddin.

 Roshan Uddin Junejo won the elections by receiving 103221 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Mehar Ali urf Mahi Khan was who received 43760 votes.
