NA-218 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-218 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Ali Nawaz Shah, Pir Hassan Ali Shah, Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, Sanjay Parwani, Bahadur Ali, Hafiz Fayyaz Ul Hassan, Abdul Majeed, Ghulam Jaffar Junejo, Lellan, Javed Ali, Masood Ahmad Wassan, Rais Ahmad Khan, Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jeelani, Muhammad Jibran and Roop Chand.
Ali Nawaz Shah won the elections by receiving 75795 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Pir Hassan Ali was who received 67552 votes.
