NA-223 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-223 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Makhdom Jamil Uzzaman, Makhdoom Fazal Hussain Qureshi, Farhat Yasmeen, Dost Ali, Syed Farman Ali Shah, Ramesh Kumar, Gul Sher Sario, Makhdoom Shahzad Ali, Peeral Majeedano, Muhammad Ali Abro, Nargis Naz, Makhdoom Zahid Ali Siddiqui, Yasir Ahmad Shah and Ameer Abbas Leghari.

 Makhdom Jamil Uzzaman won the elections by receiving 109960 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Makhdoom Fazal Hussain Qureshi was who received 50366 votes.
