NA-224 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-224 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Zulfiqar Bachani, Muhammad Mohsin, Wali Muhammad Laghari, Hussain Bakhsh, Syed Altaf Hussain Shah, Shabi Ul Hassan Shah Rashdi, Khalid Hussain, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi, Bhoru, Nazeer Khan, Muhammad Sikandar, Pir Ghulam Nabi Shah, Abdul Sattar Bachani and Ameer Ali Theho.
Zulfiqar Bachani won the elections by receiving 97147 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Mohsin was who received 70914 votes.
