NA-225 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 7 candidates who participated under NA-225 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Syed Hussain Tariq, Khawand Bux Ghulam Muhammad, Naheed Khan Barakzai, Abdul Hameed Memon, Syed Muzaffar Ali Shah, Ghulam Ullah Chang and Ameer Ali Theho.

 Syed Hussain Tariq won the elections by receiving 82028 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Khawand Bux Ghulam Muhammad was who received 50968 votes.
