NA-227 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-227 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Salah Uddin S/O Sheikh Rahimuddin, Q Muhammad Hakeem, Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, Salauddin S/O Abdul Latif, Karamat Ali Rajput, Abdul Rasheed Arain, Muhammad Farid Qureshi, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Dilshad Pathan, Abdul Hameed Qarni Arain, Muhammad Rashid Khan and Atta ul Mustafa Jamil Rathore.
Salah Uddin S/O Sheikh Rahimuddin won the elections by receiving 52053 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Q Muhammad Hakeem was who received 41513 votes.
