NA-231 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 8 candidates who participated under NA-231 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Syed Ayaz Ali Shah Sheerazi, Molvi Muhammad Saleh Alhah Dad, Abdul Rehman Malah, Aftab Ali Khan, Mumtaz Ali Shah, Shafqat Hussain Shah Sherazi and Syed Naseer Ahmed Shah Sherazi and Ayesha Gulalai Wazir.

 Syed Ayaz Ali Shah Sheerazi won the elections by receiving 129980 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Molvi Muhammad Saleh Alhah Dad was who received 11177 votes.
