NA-237 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 16 candidates who participated under NA-237 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Jamil Ahmad Khan, Abdul Hakeem Baloch, Doctor Nadeem Maqbool, Zain Ul Abdin Ansari, Faheem Ahmad, Muhammad Islam, Muhammad Shoaib, Afaq Jamal, Aziz Muhammad, Rehman Dino Mahser, Manzor Ali, Salman Ahmed, Syed Zahid Abbas Naqvi, Muhammad Mureed, Abdul Ghafoor and Babar Hakeem Baloch.
Jamil Ahmad Khan won the elections by receiving 33280 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Abdul Hakeem Baloch was who received 31907 votes.
