NA-239 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.

When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 19 candidates who participated under NA-239 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Muhammad Akram Cheema, Sohail Mansoor Khawaja, Syed Zaman Ali Jafari, Muhammad Ehsan, Muhammad Haleem Khan Ghouri, Syed Imran Haidar Abidi, Syed Nadeem Razi, Muhammad Naeem, Rasheed Siddiqui, Muhammad Tariq, Sajid Ahmad, Qazi Saleem Haidar, Muhammad Abdul Aleem Qadri, Shaukat Ali, Syed Masroor Alam, Bilal Hussain, Iqbal Ahmad, Shahzad Khan and Shahan ul Qureish.

Muhammad Akram Cheema won the elections by receiving 69147 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sohail Mansoor Khawaja was who received 68811 votes.
