NA-240 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 16 candidates who participated under NA-240 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, Muhammad Asif, Farrukh Manzoor, Abdul Jamil Khan, Afaq Shafqat, Muhammad Feroze, Syed Asif Hasnain, Abdul Ghafoor, Noori Mian, Muhammad Usman, Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi, Muhammad Ghazanfar, Shah Jahan, Muhammad Zahid, Mehmood Qureshi and Muhammad Irfan Waheed.
Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan won the elections by receiving 61165 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Asif was who received 30535 votes.
