NA-245 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-245 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Dr. Aamir Hussain, Muhammad Farooq Sattar, Muhammad Ahmed Raza, Saifuddin, Khawaja Tariq Nazir, Farrukh Niaz Tanoli, Sagheer Ahmad, Muhammad Shafiq Ahmad, Saleem Sachwani, Samina Huma Mir, Arshad Ali, Muhammad Jamil, Zulfiqar Ali Qaim Khani, Abdul Khursheed Khan and Abdul Anis Khan.
Dr. Aamir Hussain won the elections by receiving 56615 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Farooq Sattar was who received 35247 votes.
