NA-248 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-248 Constituency of Sindh Province. These candidates were Abdul Qadir Patel, Sardar Aziz, Muhammad Salman Khan, Asghar Mahmood, Gul Muhammad Afridi, Hafiz Aurangzaib, Muhammad Yousif, Afshan Qamber Ali, Muhammad Allauddin, Abdul Majeed, Bashir Ahmad and Subhan Ali.
Abdul Qadir Patel won the elections by receiving 35124 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sardar Aziz was who received 34101 votes.
