NA-257 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 11 candidates who participated under NA-257 Constituency of Balochistan Province. These candidates were Moulana Abdul Wasay, Allah Noor, Abdur Rauf, Muhammad Amin Khan Jogizai, Shaikh Abdul Sattar, Amanullah, Atta Muhammad, Najam ud Din, Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Imran Babar and Aain Uddin.
Moulana Abdul Wasay won the elections by receiving 43851 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Allah Noor was who received 22446 votes.
