NA-259 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 31 candidates who participated under NA-259 Constituency of Balochistan Province. These candidates were Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti, Mir Tariq Mehmood Kethran, Sardar Mir Baz Khan Khetran, Mian Khan, Mir Hairbyar Khan Domki, Meer Dostain Khan Domki, Mir Baz Muhammad, Jalnamb Khan Bugti, Babar Marghzani, Mir Liaqat Ali Khan, Abdul Ghaffar, Muhammad Saddique, Attaullah, Noor Ahmad Shah, Abdul Hai Baloch, Faqeerullah Jan, Mehrab Khan, Sardar Abdul Haye Shah Rashdi, Shahzadi, Nawab Muhammad Mir Aali Bugti, Hasnain Iqbal Minhas, Khan Muhammad, Mir Muhammad Khan, Mir Shah Nawaz Khan Mari, Nawabzada Gazain Khan Marri, Faqir Muhammad, Sheraz Ali, Allah Dad, Mir Ibrar Khan Khetran, Kuhdayar Mari and Ahmad Jan.
Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti won the elections by receiving 22787 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Mir Tariq Mehmood Kethran was who received 21213 votes.
