NA-260 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 26 candidates who participated under NA-260 Constituency of Balochistan Province. These candidates were Khalid Hussain Magsi, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Molvi Muhammad Abdullah, Syed Naseer Ahmed Shah Dopasi, Abdul Majid, Ghulam Rasool, Aurangzaib Alamhir Magsi, Taj Muhammad Raisani, Shahnaz Naseer Baloch, Muhammad Pannah, Rehmatullah, Sardar Abdul Sattar Khan, Izhar Hussain, Sain Bakhsh, Mir Muhammad Asim Kurd, Ali Hassan, Abdul Sattar, Niaz Ahmad, Muhammad Riaz, Ghulam Hydar, Nisar Ahmad, Mir Khan, Mir Sardar Khan Rind, Nasrullah, Mir Muhammad Hashim Khan and Mir Muhammad Magsi.
Khalid Hussain Magsi won the elections by receiving 53330 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind was who received 40188 votes.
