NA-261 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-261 Constituency of Balochistan Province. These candidates were Kamaluddin, Muhammad Issa Khan, Gohar Ejaz Khan Kakar, Malik Abdul Qayyum Khan Kakar, Nizam ud Din, Muhammad Hashim Khan Panezai, Thekaydar Hayat Ullah, Syed Abdul Zahir, Malik Muhammad Usman, Shams ul Haq, Daulat Shah, Abdullah Khan, Nizam Uddin, Ehsam Uddin and Aemal Khan.
Kamaluddin won the elections by receiving 50258 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Issa Khan was who received 28344 votes.
