NA-39 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-39 Constituency of KPK Province. These candidates were Muhammad Yaqboob Sheikh, Moulana Fazal Ur Rehman, Nurang Khan, Qaizar Khan, Alhaj Sardar Umar Farooq Khan Mian Khel, Muhammad Aftab Inayat, Asmat Ullah, Muhammad Akbar Khan, Muhammad Aamir, Waqar Ahmed Khan, Ubaid ur Rahman, Irfan Ullah Khan, Muhammad Maqbool, Faisal Karim Kundi and Ehtasham Ullah Khan.
Muhammad Yaqboob Sheikh won the elections by receiving 79334 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Moulana Fazal Ur Rehman was who received 52031 votes.
