NA-5 Upper Dir Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-5 Upper Dir Constituency of KPK Province. These candidates were Sahibzada Sibghat Ullah, Sahibzada Tariq Ullah, Najam uddin Khan, Muhammad Nisar Khan, Imran Khan, Riaz Ullah, Subhan Ali, Haneef Ullah Khan, Anayat ul Haq and Umar Zaib Khan.

Sahibzada Sibghat Ullah won the elections by receiving 66545 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sahibzada Tariq Ullah was who received 57657 votes.
