NA-53 Election Results (2018)

The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.

In the elections of 2018, there were 31 candidates who participated under NA-53 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Syed Sibt ul Haidar Bukhari, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Afnan Umrer Baloch, Chaudhary Saeed Ahmad Gujjar, Aasif, Ammar Rasheed, Ghulam Rasool, Malik Muhammad Yousif, Haroon Arshad Shaikh, Nasir Mehmood, Abdul Hafiz, Shahmakh Hassan Khan, Khawaja Khalil ur Rehman, Amjad Masih, Ayesha Gullalai Wazir, Shahzada Asif Javid, Raja Qadeer Ahmad, Syed Muhammad Amjad, Mansoor Aakash Randhawa, Nasir Munir Ahmad, Javed Akhtar, Muhammad Zafar, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Nadeem Sarwar, Makhdoom Muhammad Niaz Inqalabi, Abdul Wahab, Nadeem ul Zafar Khan, Muhammad Asif Nawaz and Asif Fazal Chaudhary.

Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi won the elections by receiving 92891 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was who received 44314 votes.
