NA-54 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 8 candidates who participated under NA-54 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Maj. (R) Tahir Sadiq, Shaikh Aftab Ahmad, Muhammad Hafeez Ullah Jan, Saeed Ahmad, Zulfiqar Hayat Khan, Asif Iqbal, Taimor Aslam and Malik Mir Afzal.
Maj. (R) Tahir Sadiq won the elections by receiving 145168 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Shaikh Aftab Ahmad was who received 101773 votes.
