NA-60 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-60 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Shaikh Rashid Shafiq, Sajjad Khan, Zahid Aqeel, Muhammad Azhar Aslam, Aftab Ahmad Qureshi, Muhammad Qaisar Mir Dad Khan, Asghar Ali Mubarak, Tehmina Sajjad Khan.
Shaikh Rashid Shafiq won the elections by receiving 44483 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Sajjad Khan was who received 43836 votes.
