NA-61 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 19 candidates who participated under NA-61 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Amer Mehmood Kiyani, Ibrar Ahmad, Syed Shahid Pervaiz, Mian Zafar Yaseen, Muhammad Gulzar, Raja Jahan Dad, Fahim Raza, Shabbir Hussain, Shaukat Rasheed Butt, Nasir Mehmood, ljaz Hussain, Hina Manzoor, Aizaz Asif, Muhammad Nabi, Raziq Mehmood Bhatti, Muhammad Shabir Awan, Raja Khawar Bashir, Farid Hussain Kaif and Ziad Khaliq Kiyani.
Amer Mehmood Kiyani won the elections by receiving 105000 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Ibrar Ahmad was who received 60125 votes.
