NA-72 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-72 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Chaudhary Armghan Subhani, Firdous Aashiq Awan, Syed Abbas Ali Shah, Mian Naeem Javed, Syed Ishtiaq Ul Hassan Gilani, Nasar Ullah, Khurram Ijaz, Parveen Akhtar, Tariq Subhani and Mian Abid Javid.
Chaudhary Armghan Subhani won the elections by receiving 129041 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Firdous Aashiq Awan was who received 91393 votes.
