NA-74 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 11 candidates who participated under NA-74 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Ali Zahid, Ghulam Abbas, Shujat Ali, Munawar Ahmad Gill, Muhammad Asif Bajwa, Muhsin Ikram, Nargis Faiz Malik, Chaudhary Muhammad Akbar, Liaqat Ali, Mansor Sarwar Khan and Muhammad Iqbal.
Ali Zahid won the elections by receiving 97235 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Ghulam Abbas was who received 93734 votes.
